News of the hour: Four from a single family died at Surkhet

- Four members of the same family (mother, two sons and nephew) have been found dead inside a room in Birendranagar of Surkhet. It is estimated that they may have died of suffocation after sleeping inside a room with coal.

- National Earthquake Safety Day: The 24th National Earthquake Safety Day is being observed across the country today in memory of the earthquake that struck at 2:24 pm on Magh 2, 1990 BS. Since Magh 2, 2055 BS it had started being celebrated.
